Have you discovered that you do not fit within the traditional role of an architect?

Remember the wonderful element of the profession; flexibility. The truth is you can craft an individual path through specialisation, exact to specific requirements. It is possible to hone and focus on the creative or the technical and of course, both. Personally I aim my contribution toward Space Architecture. Imagine laboratories and space stations. Throughout my experience I have always researched into Nature. The discoveries inform my ideas and constructive methods help resolve issues we face. Furthermore, if the human built environment is not for you, then consider the factor of transferable skill(s). In combination with specific requirements you can pursue the design of objects, furniture, theatre sets or move toward marine architecture or the digital realm (virtual reality), the game/film/animation industry. These are just a few examples; do not limit yourself by expectations or norms and pursue your interests.
